How it Works

The four basic components of a Sunwatt Solar System are

• Roof top solar modules
• Roof top solar tracker
• inverter
• Grid connect electric meter

Based on your electricity requirements the appropriate number of modules are connected to form a roof top array. The solar tracker tracks the movement of the sun to maximize exposure to the modules for greater electricity conversion. The inverter converts the electricity from direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) for use in your home. The grid connect electric meter records your net power use, spinning forwards when you use electricity from the grid, and backwards when your system generates more electricity than you need.
