Freeze Protection                                                                              

Edwards GT systems incorporate a unique, super efficient, closed circuit heat exchanger which contains an anti-freeze fluid. As this fluid circulates around the closed circuit it passes through the solar panels gathering free energy and transfers heat to the water held separately in the storage tank. The anti-freeze mixture can enable operation of the hot water system in ambient temperatures as low as 28 Celsius.

Smart Controller

The smart controller has a digital display to enable you to watch solar radiation being collected and turned into hot water. It uses sensors to measure when the temperature in the solar panels is higher than in the storage tank and independently operates the circulating pump to transfer that energy into the tank.

Choice of back up energy

During extended periods of cloudy weather the sun may need some help to provide the volume of hot water required. Automatic boosting with either gas or an electric element ensures you never run out of hot water.
